The vets of course looked good, they were only one month out of Miss Arkansas. Logan Moore, Chelsey Jones, and Chelsea Wilson were vets. Darynne Dahlem moved up from teen to miss this year, looks like a miss contestant very pretty and believe she was non finalist interview winner at teen, so definitely one to watch going forward. Emily Webb was a great in teen, she is a newbie I expect to see her at MAOT this summer
The judges were right on this year. Jacey Winn was clear swim winner and Fowler clear talent winner. Of course not all awards were given but I'm sure Winn did well in interview coming out of Miss Arkansas as overall interview winner. Teen winner was beautiful and VERY talented. She is one to watch for sure!! I do have to say Klancey Johnson needs to definitely work on her facial expressions when not winning. I do not know the girl but she gave the most insincere nod to the judges after being announced 1st RU. Not very becoming Miss Johnson.

She probably turned 23 before Miss Arkansas this year, so she won't turn 25 before December 31, 2015. That would make Miss Arkansas next summer her last shot at the crown. I don't think anyone's going to overlook the age requirement, given the Miss Delaware fiasco.

Since I don't look at this forum, I was made aware of some unsubstantiated and incorrect information, and felt that a response was in order.
1.With all of the chaos going on in this world today, I am some what taken back by some of the remarks made on this forum.
2. The Ault family has never entertained or considered going into the retail dress business. Rusty and Lori Hart are the owners of Applause. The are two of the most gracious and unselfish people I have ever known. And I am proud to call them my friends.
3. Brooke Ault has a BA in Musical Theatre. She has a resume of musical education and that started at age 5. It is her love and her passion. She has been doing vocal coaching and movement , in college and has been coaching girls since she aged out Miss Arkansas. YES she is a vocal coach.
4. On the comments about the relationship between Miss Crain and our family----Shame on you. Any parent would be some what sad at the outcome, especially after all the hard work that our daughters put into attaining their dream---However, I would never think badly of the individual that had won. Miss Crain was chosen as Miss Arkansas and did her very best to make the state of Arkansas proud. My daughter considers her a friend, as she does all of the girls that worked their heart out to get to the Miss Arkansas Stage.
5. While my daughter was not in the pageant system very long, she made wonderful friends and gained skills that will help her the rest of her life.
Each one of these girls that are discussed are someone's daughter, grandchild, friends daughter, etc. I think we should all keep that in mind, for the sake of our children.
I just hope the judges are fair and qualified and don't just pick someone because she did well at Miss Ark. this year. These early pageants are loaded with veterans but there are some new girls that deserve a shot.
